Make your life easier in the lead up with these wholefood Christmas recipe ideas!
Not sure what it is about December but as soon as it hits, the panic sets in!
I always feel like I have more time than I do to get things organised and it freaks me out when I realise I don’t! How about you?
One year, I’d love to go away for all of December and January and just skip it. Bask on a beach maybe?
As you can imagine, I haven’t been adding to the stress by trying to create new treats – the imagination is still running wild with new options I want to try, but I’m being kind to myself.
So I thought I would leave you with a few suggestions on nibbles and sweets from my past recipe pursuits, that may work for our hot weather Christmas recipe ideas and keep everyone healthy at the same time.
And even better, at the end of my list, Sonia from Natural New Age Mum has compiled a fantastic resource of Christmas wholefood recipes from other healthy writers – lots of great Christmas recipe ideas there. Totally saved me the work and more stress! Cheers Sonia!

I think I’ll be trying a few of these myself!
Have a wonderful Christmas and holiday break where ever you venture.
Wishing you fun, love, laughter and, of course – amazing health.
Jingle bells,

Just thought I would keep away from chocolate this time around and play with some cute shapes in this high protein snack recipe – Collagen Gummies in lemon and coconut flavour!
I have a confession to make. This recipe for Cherry Chocolate Jelly Slice was supposed to be something entirely different. It was supposed to be ice-cream!
With cherry season here I had visions in my head of this deliciously creamy ice-cream with chunks of cherry and chocolate through it and a bit of a crunch of macadamia nuts – heavenly, dreamy and yum.
For the party season, here are some healthy party snacks. A more nutritious alternative to commercially made chips, and various other types of junk food that is usually served at a party.
Super crunchy and delicious, I think these Homemade Sesame Snaps are better than store bought. Big call!
Do you remember Sesame Snaps in the tiny little packet that you always had trouble opening? Then when it was open the little slices of goodness were all stuck together so rarely if ever, you managed to break them apart without snapping it in half? It didn’t seem to matter though as they were sweet and crunchy – so sticky, crunchy and rock hard in fact that it seemed like your teeth would break! Despite all that, they were yum!
So I don’t know what the ingredients are in the original – might take a peek when I am next at the supermarket – however I wondered if I could recreate the taste with honey or rice malt syrup. It turns out I can! Yahoo!
