So since I’ve been eating a little more along the Dr Ray Peat principles, read what that is here. I’ve found that drinking sweetened tea or coffee with honey and not rinsing between, has affected my teeth. A bit of sensitivity and lingering dull pain here and there.
Cut straight to the end – I’ve fixed it – however it started me looking into the remineralisation of teeth.
Steering a little away from peanut butter and chocolate this week, I thought I would revisit some of my white treats and create something new.
This is a step up from the White Chocolate Fudge recipe and is even more creamy and tastes even more like those chewy Milk Shake lollies of my youth. (I was sure my teeth were going to come out chewing those lollies.)
Do you remember the White Chocolate Spiders recipe from years ago that was basically melt white chocolate, add peanut butter, tip in crunchy noodles and that was it? I used to love them and then feel sick afterwards from all the crappy stuff in it.
So I was remembering my younger days and my preference in chocolate was always the milk chocolate type, not dark as that seemed too bitter (didn’t know at the time it was the best kind, more likely to have any nutrients in it,) plus my taste buds were ruined with a sugar overload.
