Dairy free and with a base ingredient of vegetables but the smooth taste of chocolate – bring it to me now!

Sweet Potato Brownies

cacao, chocolate, sweet potato, yam, kumara, brownie, healthy

So while my last blog post was about how raw cacao is not that great for you after all (read it here)   – here’s a recipe using cacao!

What??

It’s ok, I haven’t gone mad, it’s just that I wanted to clarify that you don’t necessarily have to give it up altogether.

Stevia causes Belly Fat…

stevia causes belly fatIs it true that stevia causes belly fat?

In this whole weight loss and health game, I like to be my own grand experiment to see what works for me and makes me feel amazing, hopefully all the time.

So I read up on different healthy food related topics, try them on for size, then make up my own mind as to whether what is written is true for me. But this week was truly stellar, so here is one of the recipes today and the rest will follow in the weeks to come.

White Chocolate Spiders

Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding

ChiaRaspberry

Have you discovered Chia Seeds yet? Whether yes or no, here is my Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding recipes and some information on whether to believe the hype.

Supposedly packed with all kinds of nutrition like omega 3, fibre, protein, and a host of minerals and in recent times given the superfood tag, however don’t believe the hype. Two problems with it and I’ll keep it brief because I can already feel your eyes glazing over – ha ha.
