Best exercise to lose weight

Bicepsmaller

Do you know how much daily exercise for health we are supposed to be doing? How much is too much, where it starts to negatively impact your health? Do you know the best exercise to lose weight?

I was visiting my parents who live two states away and I have a running joke with my father, where I ask – “Dad have you been lifting your weights a little?” He always replies, “I’ll start tomorrow.” He has said this for the last 30 years!

Home Workout for a Fast Metabolism – One Ten Toned

home workout, exercise, muscles, weight loss, metabolism, belly fat

I’m so excited to advise that I’ve created a new home workout for a fast metabolism called…

One Ten Toned

– An easy exercise plan for a fast metabolism and a healthy toned body.

It’s been a labour of love and there are a few people to thank, but first you may be wondering, “Why exercise, isn’t food your thing?

Yes indeed it is, but for real health, exercise is part of it too. However just like extreme diets, people have been going whacko over extreme exercise like Cross Fit, marathon running, super heavy weights or exercising twice a day for an hour at a time, and all it’s doing is breaking people down and damaging their bodies. personal trainers

It gets me every time. I can’t stand it!!! Bad personal trainers and the whole wrong concept of torturing yourself to lose weight.

Every time I see something like this, all my own weight loss struggles, feelings of hardship, dread, exasperation, disappointment at trying all different things that never worked and just plain hopelessness come flooding back.

I just feel it. I feel for the person, I feel angry at society, I feel disdain for the fitness and weight loss industry who are preying on these people and I just feel frustrated that I can’t help more people faster!

This post covers some ground that I have previously covered but because I keep seeing it over and over, it makes me want to keep saying it over and over in a slightly different way. Hopefully maybe people will get it and stop all this unnecessary suffering. It’s driving me crazy. Continue reading

Intense exercise is not the key to weight loss

weight loss, gym, boot camp, losing weight, diet

I couldn’t believe what I saw the other day! Mumbling to myself I just thought – “right, this is nuts, I have to finish my book on losing weight the easy way.

I was doing my morning walk in Brisbane, in a beautiful parkland area around the back of my place. It has creeks, paths and bird life; it’s a gorgeous place to walk and one section goes past a gym. As I was walking past, I saw a bunch of overweight people piling out with a couple of trainers and it had been raining the night before, so there was mud and water all over this paddock/grass area where they were all tiptoeing through the water to assemble.
